Securing a place at Kolej Kediaman Kinabalu gives you access to affordable, well-managed student accommodation right on the Universiti Malaya campus.
Accommodation at Kolej Kediaman Kinabalu (KK8) is managed by the Universiti Malaya Student Affairs Department (HEP). Applications are submitted through the UM student portal (MyUM).
Room Types
Each room accommodates up to 3 students with one double-deck bed and one single bed, in a V-shape design for comfortable personal study space.
Eligibility
All registered UM undergraduates may apply. Priority is given to first-year students and those from outside Kuala Lumpur. FCSIT students are placed in Zone 3 colleges including KK5, KK8, and KK10.
Application Process
Apply online through the MyUM portal. Placement letters are issued before the academic session. Students without a placement may submit a rayuan (appeal).
