With 700 to 900 students at any time from across Malaysia’s faculties and states, KK8 is a rich multicultural environment reflecting the spirit of Universiti Malaya.
Room Life & Mentorship
Rooms house one junior with two seniors (or vice versa), encouraging natural mentorship. The V-shaped room layout gives each resident personal study space.
Food & Social Culture
The Dewan Makan is legendary for variety and affordability – Malay nasi goreng, padprik, mamak roti canai, Arab naan, and a late-night burger stall at the main gate.
Clubs & Events
KK8 hosts cultural nights, inter-block sports tournaments, talent shows, and festive celebrations. The Jawatankuasa Tindakan (JT) committee coordinates activities and builds student leadership.
